Software Engineering Project Manager
Our Company
Neat brings people together with beautifully simple, versatile video devices and experiences. By minimizing the physical and virtual divide, we enable everyone to feel more connected, present and understood, however they prefer to work. We aim to make our technologies so intuitive that terms like "in-office" and "remote" will seem obsolete in five years. Neat's pioneering portfolio addresses the needs of today's workplace and natively supports Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and a range of compelling business apps.
We are an ambitious, accountable, collaborative, responsible, and growing team that fosters an environment where creativity and ingenuity can flourish. We strive to bring out the best in our Neaters and make amazing products and experiences. We are based in Oslo with Neaters working all over the world.
The Opportunity
We are actively looking for a skilled and ambitious Software Engineering Project Manager / Program Manager / Scrum Master to join our software engineering team and help us streamline and organize our work. While Neat is still a relatively small company, we have grown beyond the naturally self-organizing start-up phase and are beginning to adopt a bit more process to ensure our teams are maximally productive and that we don’t forget to dot any i’s or cross any t’s. We use our own unique blend of Kanban and Scrum/Sprint methodologies; Miro, Jira, Confluence, Google Workplace and Microsoft 365 for organizing and documenting our work; with Slack, Zoom and Microsoft Teams for real-time and asynchronous communications.
Based at our global headquarters in Oslo, you will join Neat’s main R&D hub of over 70 talented engineers and designers. You’ll be at the forefront of the development and engineering activities for Neat as we drive innovation forward. The role is located ideally in Oslo, but if you can work remotely in the same time zone and have the opportunity to travel to our headquarters when needed you will still be considered.

Work with Technical Leads/Area Product Owners to ensure tasks are broken down and ready to be accepted into the backlog.
Track delivery status and communicate it to stakeholders so that leadership is well-informed and accurate roadmaps can be developed and maintained.
Organize New Product Introduction (NPI) trainings to ensure that the development team delivers the required information to downstream stakeholders such as Release Management and Technical Support teams, so they can be properly trained and that communications such as release notes and user guides can be accurate and consistent.
Ensure that we are at all times meeting all certification requirements set forth by Zoom and Microsoft.
Contribute to our achieving ISO 270001 certification.
