Neat brings people together with beautifully simple, versatile video devices and experiences. By minimizing the physical and virtual divide, we enable everyone to feel more connected, present and understood, however they prefer to work. We aim to make our technologies so intuitive that terms like "in-office" and "remote" will seem obsolete in five years. Neat's pioneering portfolio addresses the needs of today's workplace and natively supports Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and a range of compelling business apps.

The video team is involved in “all things video” in our products, such as camera tuning, post-processing, camera AI features, video encoding/decoding, media transport, integration both up (Android) and down (Linux kernel) the stack, etc. We’re a small team and looking for people that want to make an impact. Skills we value highly are curiosity, versatility and drive. Our primary language is C++.

We’re looking for candidates with some years of experience in some of the following areas:

• Building media processing pipelines

• Efficient use of hardware resources

• Developing for Linux or Android

• Image processing (traditional and/or deep learning)

• Video encoders and decoders

• Working with a large code base

Qualities we are looking for:

• Eager to learn new things, willing to figure it out

• Driven to build high quality, engaging experiences in a highly competitive environment

• Passionate. We love what we do, you should too

• Master’s degree or higher in computer science (or equivalent STEM subject) or equivalent years experience.
