The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Technical Video Production Specialist to produce our Live Virtual Tour program and create high-quality marketing product videos in our San Jose Experience Center. This role combines technical expertise, creative vision, and project management skills to deliver engaging video content that showcases our products and services, enhances customer engagement, and drives brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities
Live Virtual Tour Production Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute live virtual tours showcasing company products and solutions 4 days a week 4x a day for 45 minutes each.
- Operate and manage multi-camera setups, live streaming equipment, and Zoom and Microsoft Teams software platforms for seamless virtual tour experiences.
- Ensure technical quality of live broadcasts, including sound, lighting, and video resolution.
- Keep equipment up-to-date and well tested.
Product Video Production: - Conceptualize, script, shoot, and edit marketing videos that highlight product features and benefits.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align video content with brand messaging and campaign goals.
- Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and special effects to elevate video quality.
Technical Operations: - Manage studio setups, including lighting configurations, camera operations, audio mixing, and equipment maintenance and editing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during production or live broadcasts to ensure smooth execution.
- Stay updated on the latest video production technologies and trends to innovate workflows.
Post-Production: - Edit raw footage into polished videos using advanced editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Add graphics, captions, soundtracks, and compress videos for optimized distribution across digital platforms.
- Ensure all video content meets brand standards and technical quality requirements.
Collaboration & Communication: - Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product development and product specialists) to understand project objectives.
- Coordinate with external vendors or contractors as needed for specialized production tasks.
- Communicate project timelines and deliverables effectively to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in video production for marketing or technical industries
- Expertise in live streaming technologies (e.g., OBS) and multi-camera setups.
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects)
- Strong understanding of lighting techniques, audio recording/mixing, and studio equipment management.
- Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into engaging visual narratives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines under pressure.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with tech products or industries is a strong advantage.
- Experience with virtual event and streaming tools (Zoom Webinars, Bitfocus Companion, OBS, vMix). Experience with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom Webinar, OBS Studio) for live tours.
- Knowledge of social media optimization for video content distribution.
Work Environment:
This position is an in office position which may require you to be in our San Jose Experience center up to 5 days a week.
