The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a Channel Director, Americas to lead from the front with our most exciting and largest named accounts. You’ll have the freedom and responsibility to influence processes, set best practices, and define what exceptional service looks like for our customers—the “Neat” way that sets us apart. You must thrive as a true leader and be able to help us grow and evolve in line with market needs. The candidate we look for has excellent relationship building capabilities, is a fast learner & self-starter, takes initiative, works independently & is highly motivated.
As Channel Director, you will develop and execute strategies to grow Neat’s sales and market reach through indirect sales channels and partner networks. Your key initiative will be ensuring success from your team in identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new partners, maintaining strong partner relationships, and collaborating with internal teams like sales, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and drive revenue growth through these channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of channel managers, fostering a high-performing and motivated channel sales team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive channel sales strategies focused on expanding market presence and achieving revenue targets through indirect sales channels.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners that align with the company's growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key channel partners, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Work closely with internal departments, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to align channel activities and ensure a cohesive approach.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current channel programs and partner performance, making recommendations for improvement.
- Drive sales and profitability through the partner ecosystem by ensuring partners are equipped to sell and support the company's products and services.
- Expand the company's overall market reach by leveraging the partner network to access new markets and customer segments.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and guide a growing team of Americas Channel Managers.
- An established track record of success from the AV industry.
- The ability to develop and execute long-term channel strategies that align with business objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and nurture effective partnerships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in sales and partner management, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
- The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with partners.
- The capacity to analyze market trends and channel performance data to inform strategic decisions.
- Experience in channel management or business development roles, with a deep understanding of partner ecosystems.
