The Opportunity
Neat is seeking a Product Pricing Manager to join our growing Product Management team. Reporting directly to the VP of Product Management, this critical role will define, manage, and optimize pricing strategies for Neat’s hardware portfolio.
You’ll be responsible for shaping and optimizing the pricing strategy for Neat’s hardware and SaaS offering.This position blends commercial acumen, data-driven analysis, and strategic thinking to ensure Neat’s products are competitively priced, profitable, and aligned with our business objectives.
This position is ideal for candidates who are looking to apply their financial modeling, market analysis, and strategic thinking skills in a dynamic technology environment. The ideal candidate thrives in cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Finance teams.
2. Key Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy & Governance
Develop and implement end-to-end pricing strategies for Neat’s hardware portfolio and SaaS offering across global markets, channels, and customer segments.
Balance competitiveness, profitability, and customer value through effective pricing models (e.g., cost-plus, value-based, or competitive benchmarking).
Maintain and communicate pricing policies, discount structures, and approval frameworks.
Partner with Product leadership to optimise pricing at key lifecycle moments: launch premium models, mid-life refreshes (e.g., Gen 2 upgrades), and end-of-life transitions for older hardware
Drive strategic pricing discussions with product, finance, and commercial leadership to align with long-term business objectives.
Product & Market Analysis
Conduct ongoing market and competitor pricing analysis for the video-device category to inform product positioning and pricing decisions.
Partner with Product Managers and Finance to model product margins, cost of goods sold (COGS), and profitability by SKU or product line.
Support business case development for new product launches and lifecycle pricing adjustments.
Develop and maintain profitability by SKU/product-line dashboards, identifying low-margin SKUs, cannibalisation risk, bundling opportunities, and recommending pricing adjustments or phase-outs
Lead competitive pricing analysis using market data, win/loss insights, and customer feedback to maintain market relevance.
Identify risks and opportunities in product portfolio performance, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Commercial Enablement
Work closely with regional Sales and Channel teams to support pricing proposals and large-deal negotiations.
Coordinate promotional pricing, rebates, and bundle offers to drive adoption and market share.
Provide pricing insights and recommendations throughout the product lifecycle (launch, midlife, end-of-life).
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track and analyze key pricing and profitability KPIs.
Produce dashboards and reports for leadership on pricing performance, elasticity, and margin trends.
Identify opportunities to improve pricing accuracy, agility, and efficiency through tools and automation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Product Management, Finance, Sales Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
Ensure alignment of pricing strategies with corporate financial objectives and product positioning.
Act as the subject-matter expert for hardware pricing across the organization.
3.Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA or Masters preferred).
Experience
5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic pricing — ideally with exposure to hardware, technology, or manufacturing sectors.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in financial modeling and pricing tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce) a plus.
Understanding of hardware cost structures an advantage
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver insights in a fast-paced environment.
Soft Skills
Proven ability to structure ambiguous problems and synthesize complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
Strong communication and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-starter comfortable working in an evolving, fast-moving environment.
Enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying ahead of market and pricing trends.
