Strategic Planning & Programs Lead (Office of the CEO) - Northeastern US
Location: Remote Washington DC and Northeast US
Reports To: Chief of Staff to the CEO
The Role
Neat is looking for a high-impact, autonomous Strategic Planning & Programs Lead to join the Office of the CEO. In this role, you will be an integral part of driving our internal rhythm of business. You will support the Chief of Staff in translating executive vision into actionable roadmaps, ensuring Neat scales effectively across global markets.
You are part of the "connective tissue" of the company. You will work across every department to ensure visibility, alignment, and momentum. This is an individual contributor (IC) role designed for a strategic operator who loves to build systems that make complex work feel simple.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Rhythm: Partner with the CoS to run the company's strategic planning cycles. You will help define key initiatives, track progress against our financial plan, and ensure departmental goals ladder up to our primary mission.
Program Management Office (PMO): Lead high-priority, cross-functional programs that move the needle for Neat. You will identify bottlenecks before they become blockers and facilitate the "wins" that keep our teams motivated.
Executive Visibility: Design and maintain the dashboards and reporting structures that give the CEO and Executive Team a "clear view" of the business. You will help leaders share their progress and challenges upwards with clarity and candor.
Connective Tissue: Act as a neutral, high-trust partner to functional leads. You will ensure that communication flows seamlessly between teams, breaking down silos to ensure we execute as one global unit.
Financial and Goal Stewardship: Monitor the execution of our financial plan, ensuring resources are allocated to our highest-priority strategic efforts and flagging risks to our growth trajectory.
What You Bring
5–7 Years of Experience: A proven track record in Strategic Operations, Program Management, or Management Consulting. Experience in a high-growth hardware or deep-tech environment is a significant plus.
The Ability to Synthesize: You can take a 60-minute technical deep dive and turn it into a 3-bullet executive summary. You value simply meaningful communication—concise, insightful, and actionable.
Operational Rigor: You are process-driven and know how to build just enough structure to keep things moving without slowing the team down.
Strategic Influence: You are comfortable working with C-suite executives and can hold functional leads accountable without having formal authority over them.
Technical Curiosity: You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be eager to understand the "AI-powered modular architecture" that makes Neat unique.
Why Neat?
We are a Norwegian-founded company that values "intelligent simplicity" in everything we do—from the video devices we build to the way we run our meetings. At Neat, you will have:
Direct Impact: A front-row seat to the scaling of a $250M+ revenue technology leader.
Ownership Culture: We are looking for a partner who wants to share in the long-term value they help create.
Global Perspective: Work with a world-class team spanning Oslo, the US, and beyond.
How We Work
We don't do "busy work." We do work that matters. You will be expected to be a self-starter who brings solutions, not just problems, to the table. If you are a master of strategic execution who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $160,000 - $180,000 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and internal equity. This position is eligible for our comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and an unlimited PTO policy.
